Home Grown

     Fifteen years ago, my mother and I created the idea of Local Hero.  Not just run-of-the-mill "feeding hole", but a homey place where people could go and still get fresh in-house made, home-cooked foods.

     Fifteen years and a few mistakes later, we're still here.  Like every other food service business or otherwise, we are human, and do occasionally make mistakes.  We rely on you to let us know when we do, so that we may fix our errors.

     If there is ever a problem with your order big or small, please let the store managers know immediately.  They are more than happy to make sure your meal is an exceptional one!

     We strive everyday to serve the finest and freshest ingredients grown or made.  To ensure the quality and freshness of our foods we use local suppliers as often as possible.

     Many items are low fat and vegetarian.  All soups have no salt and little if any fat.

     We would be pleased to accept any suggestions or ideas you have.
